Hashimoto's Disease Cold Sores

The body is it an expression of who we are?

Could you elaborate, in a future post, the idea that the body is an expression of who we are? It seems a very interesting topic.

made Question on Blog Quote of the day, October 12

three possibilities:

1 - We are composed of body and soul. Not only are they not the same, but the body is a trap for the soul, where she has bogged down and losing its spirituality. This is explained by Plato, is what the mystics have been saying. Death is an issue in this it rids the soul of his mortal coil.

2 - The body is the other of the soul, what it does not identify itself (for it is spiritual, not material) and yet it is inextricably linked: the mystery of the incarnation, we found even in Descartes (and Malebranche). Here, there may be correspondence between soul and body, though there is no continuity between the two. Bergson in this context used the metaphor of the orchestra: the conductor does not play well and yet there is a perfect correspondence between his actions and music played by the orchestra.

3 - Finally we can say that the body and soul are in perfect continuity, there is not a Chinese wall that separates human being into two, one side the body, another soul.

Here one can truly say that body is an expression of what we ,

- either intuitively, saying that the body was sculpted during the life depending on experience (the ride of expression - the back slightly bent - this approach ... haughty). The child who comes in world has a body that owes everything to nature. The old man's body is an expression of his life.

- can also be as "shrinks" (psychoanalysts in particular) to develop the theory of expression prevented. The body is that which says that the subject can not express - what he can not even think.

known list of psychosomatic manifestations that express the anguish in their own way, repressed desires, the stresses of everyday life. (Okay from eczema to cancer)

-> If the body is an expression of who we are, then the disease has a purpose and act on mood - or spirituality - is a way to preserve his health.

-> If we shrink from such a consequence, there is still to admit certain psychosomatic phenomena as the placebo effect.
